is seeing a big band in a small venue. Bloc Party was the perfect example. When they came to Vancouver a little while ago, they played a huge arena show in the modest little Commodore.
It was incredible.
On September 26th, Most Serene Republic will be at the Biltmore in Vancouver. It’s exciting because the Biltmore is teeny tiny and Most Serene Republic should be much bigger.
They have a new album out, but Content Was Always My Favourite Colour was always my favourite song.

i love the biltmore. quite sad i missed bloc party, but it just wasn’t in my budget then :(

I hate to tell you this, Quelle, but it was one of the best shows I’ve seen. They sounded so, so amazing.
Next time they’re here you haaaaaave to go.

Wow, i saw blockpart last year here, in argentina. I have never listened to them before, and since this day i listen to them often!.
