Unlike my sister-in-law Jaclyn, who has her jewelry neatly displayed, I strew my rings and things all over the house.
Responsible? No. But now that I’ve got a bunch of oyster shells to store them in, my little piles of jewelry are so much more interesting.
‘Tis the easiest thing in the world: I found oyster shells on the beach, cleaned them off, boiled them (to take out the ocean funk), et voila.
Makes me wish I wore more pearls.

I love this idea, it’s unique and pretty. I just have this dinky plastic basket thing from the dollar store that I throw all my rings in.. I should really change that lol

my jewelry is scattered everywhere as well, but I kind of like it, it gives my room a fun look

Wow. Very nice. I have a feeling that if I tried to pull this off, I would end up with scattered shells as well as scattered jewellery everywhere. Hats off to you!

I love this idea, I have a bunch of shells but never thought of using them for jewelry dishes!

i’m constantly trying to think of ways to store my jewelry – this is one of my favourite ideas yet!
now if only i lived by an ocean….

You’re so creative! I swear, your jewellery must be the most nicely stored ever what with this idea, and didn’t you do a post awhile back where you stored some on these decorative plates? Makes me feel shameful of my random box of tangled necklaces haha
