I was just in New York this past weekend (also for a milestone birthday, although not the same one). Looks like you had fun!

Celebrating my upcoming significant birthday in New York, too! ;) Dinner reservations at the magical River Cafe, and daytime beach party at the Rockaways at the end of the A train. Followed by a month in France. BTW, we’re moving back to Vancouver at the end of the year, and I can actually check out some of the local spots you name in your blog!
